Isn’t it amazing how solid water (also known as “ice”) can seem so different from liquid water? But they’re essentially the same substance. The same goes for personal care products, I think. I’ve gone my whole life expecting products to appear in liquid or solid form, based on how I’ve always seen them packaged in the past. Shampoo should be liquid, not solid. The soap I use in the shower can be solid, but hand soap should be liquid.

Boscia Matcha Magic Super Antioxidant Mask review: Super drying, but maybe worth trying

I’ve had a soft spot for Boscia’s products ever since I learned that this company makes preservative-free products that are free of fragrances and dyes. So when I spotted the Boscia Matcha Magic Super Antioxidant Mask at my local TJ Maxx, I thought it would be fun to give it a try. I’ve also been trying to be more mindful of plastic packaging lately, so a jarred mask seems like a slightly greener alternative to individually packaged sheet masks.

A few months ago, I had the chance to visit Seattle for the first time. As I wandered through the historic Pike Place Market, I stopped by the Moon Valley Organics stand and picked up a bundle of three products: the Moon Valley Organics EczaCalm, the Lotion Bar, and a lip balm. I’ve noticed a bit of an eczema flareup on my left hand recently, so I decided it was time to give the EczaCalm a try.

Good news, physical sunscreen enthusiasts: I’ve got another zinc oxide sunscreen review for you today. This one’s from All Good, a brand that was founded by a massage therapist. The first product in this company started out with a product known as All Good Goop, a healing balm that was designed to help soothe aches and pains. Today the company makes more kinds of products, including reef-safe sunscreens like the one I’m reviewing today: All Good Sunscreen Butter SPF 50+.
