Missha Magic Cushion SPF 50 PA+++ (No. 27) review

This cushion compact isn't exactly 'magic,' but it does do a decent job of creating a smoother complexion and a dewy finish.

People in my family don’t wear makeup, so I never grew up buying or testing it out on my face. However, now that I’m a so-called “adult,” I find that, once in a while, I need a little something extra to make myself look just a tad bit more polished when I’m off to a party, wedding, or job interview. It turns out that compact cushions are perfect for people like me who don’t normally wear makeup.

Clinique Pep-Start Hydrorush Moisturizer SPF 20 Sunscreen Review

This moisturizer/sunscreen is a bit too oily for my skin, but it might be right for anyone who has dry skin. Plus, it contains caffeine (to give it pep), sea whip extract, and other beneficial ingredients.

It’s 2019, but I’m still slowly working my way through the sunscreens in Sephora’s Sun Safety Kit 2018. My goal is to try them all before the 2019 kit comes out (I’m guessing sometime in April-ish?). The brightest (peppiest) option included in the kit was definitely Clinique Pep-Start Hydrorush Moisturizer SPF 20. It comes in a tiny, bright yellow squeeze tube, which makes it look like sunshine in a bottle.

This BB cream provides a dewy finish and doubles as a tinted sunscreen. But keep in mind that it doesn't provide full protection against UVA rays.
